Silver Oak PTO hosts several community events throughout the year including:

Put on your running shoes! Join us every Friday at Lunch Recess, to get fit and earn prizes!

Here's how it works:

  • Every week that you participate (1 lap minimum), you will get a special charm to add to your necklace for that week.
  • For every lap that you do around the track, your class will get 1 point.
  • The class with the most points at the end of the month, will get to keep the winner's trophy.
  • Remember to wear your class shirt, to represent the college you belong to.

Words Walk Bike to school with person walking and person riding a bike

We Encourage all students and parents to set the alarm 20 minutes early, so you can walk or bike to school one day during the week or all 5 days! Can't walk or ride to school? Get to school early and do some laps around the field!

The Red Ribbon Campaign is the oldest and largest drug prevention program in the nation, reaching millions of young people. Our School celebrates and observes this important initiative with a daily theme for spirit week. We hope to educate our children to be drug free, and encourage them to always find support.

We encourage parents to participate at home by talking to their kids about the importance of being drug free.
