The Red Ribbon Campaign is the oldest and largest drug prevention program in the nation, reaching millions of young people. Our School celebrates and observes this important initiative with a daily theme for spirit week. We hope to educate our children to be drug free, and encourage them to always find support.

We encourage parents to participate at home by talking to their kids about the importance of being drug free.

What an amazing International Night 2024 that was held on 5/16/24!

Huge Thanks to all the parent volunteers who stepped up to represent their country, prepared food, and supported this event, bringing it to life. Your time, love and cultural sharing made it possible for our students and the families to enjoy an enriching experience.

There were 12 countries that participated in the event. Whoooo- hoooo! The students enjoyed “Around the world Scavenger Hunt”.

The country tables were decked with delicious food, beautiful decor and tri-fold posters that showed the country’s  heritage and culture

The student performances were mind blowing.

The audience was simply mesmerized by how beautiful the multicultural platform was. Families loved capturing their travel around the world at the Photobooth.

Everyone was surprised with a special appearance of Miss.Philippines USA 3rd runner up, Ms.Arabella Barr.

Thank you to the Parent Lead of the Event, Navjot Sandhu for hosting such a beautiful evening.

Country Hosting Overview

When an individual or team volunteers to represent a country at International Night, here is the basic overview of what is involved…

How do the students travel the world?

Scavenger Hunt:  Instead of passports (that we have been doing in the past years), we are bringing "Around the World" scavenger hunt this year.  Volunteers must provide the event organizer with pictures of three items from their tri fold poster for the scavenger hunt. We will choose one picture out of the three provided.

Each kid will be given one page at the entrance and they will be hunting for the items that are on the page. Once found, they will write the country’s name under the picture it belongs to.

Space: Each country receives 1 full table cafeteria table (2 surfaces). You are required to provide 2 large plastic table covers for these tables.

Displays: Provide at least 1 trifold cardboard display with information about your country (make sure to include information that the passport questions will be about). You may choose how to decorate and display what you would like to represent your chosen country.

Activity: Each country is responsible for providing at least one simple cultural activity or craft. It can be as simple as teaching a game popular in that country, some drawings kids can color and take with them, quick finger painting, etc.

Food: Cultural food and/or drink samples are not required, but have become a very popular feature of the evening, and definitely enjoyed by all. Please avoid nuts due to allergy concerns. If you must have nuts in your dish(es), you must clearly label the item(s), and specify what nut(s) are present.

Dress: You are not required to dress in cultural attire, however, many representatives choose to do so.

Budget: Since, we didn't reach the pledge goal this year, International Night will not be funded by the P.T.O. There will be no reimbursements.  All the tables will be self  funded. So, please plan accordingly.

Live Performance: Please email navjotsandhu2008@gmail.com. Please DO NOT sign up for performances here. Please write the type of performance you wish to do along with the performance length (3-5 minutes). It has to be a group performance ONLY (minimum 5 students). There will be NO SOLO Performance.

Performances must be arranged and approved in advance, as the planning team needs create a schedule for the evening. No event night requests will be allowed.

*Any additional details will be emailed directly to those that volunteer to host a country.

For any questions, please contact your International Lead, Navjot Sandhu at navjotsandhu2008@gmail.com.
