Fundraising Events:

Silver Oak Educational Partnership (SOEP) believes that as a community, if we achieve our pledge participation goals, it will not only reinstate funding for the overall enrichment and support that SOEP provides for Silver Oak... it will also forge a powerful team of families committed to an elementary school experience for our children that is above and beyond what is otherwise possible.

Every family's participation in our annual pledge drive is needed and so very appreciated to continue Silver Oak's tradition of excellence in education. Silver Oak relys on funding from the district, as well as financial support and program management from SOEP to provide an enriched and balanced education that shapes every student's elementary school years here.

We encourage all families to pledge $375 per student to allow us to meet our current program and school support commitments. If you are able to pledge an amount higher than $375, it allows SOEP to explore other ways to invest in our classrooms and better support the needs of our students & teachers.

Extracurricular programs that are organized by SOEP/PTO are NOT FUNDED by pledge dollars. Programs such as Upper and Lower Grade Plays, Math Olympiad, Math Kangaroo, and Talent Show are self-funding programs that are paid for by registration fees.

Thank you for helping Silver Oak "Grow and Succeed" as our kids return to in-person learning for the 2023-2024 school year!

Silver Oak PTO's Parents' Night Out is an annual event held in winter or spring where parents and community members come together for a fun evening of dinner and dancing.

Silver Oak Educational Partnership ("SOEP"; dba: Silver Oak Elementary PTO) is looking for corporate and small business sponsors to help support enrichment programs, technology investments, and classroom grants not otherwise afforded by the budget granted to our school by the school district. We are hoping you will support us this year to help bring a high standard of balanced education to our students.

SOEP is a recognized non-profit that operates exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. We partner with Silver Oak Elementary School staff and parents to provide students with access to resources that support educational enrichment with an emphasis on STEM (Science Technology, Engineering and Math), LAR (Language Arts and Reading) and Fine Arts.

SOEP is offering business sponsorship levels that allow for various degrees of recognition for your company's contribution throughout the year. Silver Oak Elementary serves the families in Silver Creek Country Club, Meadowlands and California Oak Creek communities in south San Jose. We have over 600 children at Silver Oak Elementary, that’s over 400 local Evergreen families who see and benefit from your contribution.

If you would like to be an Annual Sponsor or have questions regarding sponsorship, please contact me as soon as possible at soepto.pledge@gmail.com.

Sincerely,
Chelon Blanco
