Silver Oak Fine Arts is comprised of music, art, and performing arts. SOEP/PTO supports both in-class music and art instruction for all grades, as well as coordinates extracurricular Fine Arts programs that students have the option to register for and participate in over the course of the school year.

Our classroom Fine Arts programs are funded by our annual Pledge Drive. Extracurricular offerings are self-funding via registration fees to cover program costs.

CLASSROOM STUDIO ART

Arts Attack is a year long program, offering monthly art projects for the students to complete in the classroom.

Teachers work with students on an art project at the end of the School Year which is displayed for the entire school to enjoy and during Open House for any new families to get a sneak peek at some wonderful art projects that students of Silver Oak Elementary have worked on.

HOLIDAY CHOIR

Holiday Choir is a wonderful program where students from grades 1st-3rd sing some holiday songs and learn to work in a team environment and singing in Chorus.

UPPER GRADE PLAY

The Upper Grade Play is performed by 4 – 6  graders in the Fall and they are instructed on every aspect of performing in a play from dialogue delivery to performing in front of an audience which definitely prepares them for public speaking in the future.

With our very own Silver Oak students from 4th - 6th grades and 3 months of dedication and hard work, the Upper Grade play completed its three wonderful shows on 12/4/2025 and 12/5/2025.

The play participants did an amazing job and the audience was simply mesmerized by how beautiful the performance was.

Thank you to our students and all of our parent volunteers for helping to make the upper grade play a success.

We would also like to express our gratitude to Ms. Carol Romo from TheatreFun for her dedication and mentorship that helped the kids do such a commendable job!

We look forward to more shows in the future and are always looking for parents to lead and volunteer to make such events a success. Click here to watch the play!

Silver Oak PTO is pleased to offer this year's MUSICAL: Frog & Toad

NOTE: Registration is now closed

Based on Arnold Lobel's well-loved books, and featuring a hummable score by Robert and Willie Reale, this whimsical show follows two great friends – the cheerful, popular Frog and the rather grumpy Toad – through four fun-filled seasons.

Waking from hibernation in the Spring, Frog and Toad plant gardens, swim, rake leaves, go sledding and learn life lessons along the way. The two best friends celebrate and rejoice in the differences that make them unique and special. Part vaudeville, part make believe... all charm, A Year with Frog and Toad tells the story of a friendship that endures throughout the seasons.

The jazzy, upbeat score of A Year with Frog and Toad bubbles with melody and wit, making it an inventive, exuberant and enchanting musical for the whole family.
